Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kelso, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work performed under this contract consists of installation of paint lines on existing pavement in Cowlitz County. The project will complete the striping listed in the 2026 Pavement Striping Schedule in Appendix A, to be seasonally suspended, and then complete striping as listed in a 2027 Pavement Striping Schedule to be issued by the County in 2027. Bidders must address bids to the Cowlitz County Department of Public Works, Attn: County Engineer. Project bid documents are available online through the Builders Exchange of Washington (BXWA) website for viewing, downloading, and printing. Bidders are required to register as a bidder on BXWA to receive notifications of addenda and placement on the Bidders List. It is the bidder's responsibility to obtain addenda from BXWA. Cowlitz County is not responsible for bidders who fail to check for addenda. No paper copies of bid documents will be provided for bidding purposes. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. If the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract and provide satisfactory performance bond within the specified time, the deposit will be forfeited to Cowlitz County. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any immaterial irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding.
