Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marquette, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bid#1 consists of resurfacing approximately 1,320 feet of Dodges Avenue from Third Street to Front Street as part of the MSIPLT Program (LRIP). Work includes a 1" profile mill of existing asphalt, sweeping, cleaning, applying tack coat, and paving a hot mix asphalt surface to a 1.5-inch compacted thickness with a 2-foot shoulder. Paving into driveways approximately 5 feet to match is included. Bid#2 consists of resurfacing approximately 2,600 feet of Fourth Street from Village Limit to West Street, also as part of the MSIPLT (LRIP). Work is the same as Bid#1: a 1" profile mill of existing asphalt, sweeping, cleaning, applying tack coat, and paving a hot mix asphalt surface to a 1.5-inch compacted thickness with a 2-foot shoulder, including paving into driveways approximately 5 feet to match. Bids must be sent by May 1, 2026 to Village of Marquette, ATTN: LRIP Bids, P.O. Box 61, Marquette, WI 53947-0061. The Village Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid most advantageous to the Village. The 2026 completion date will be negotiated at the time the bid is awarded.
