Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chelsea, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project involves blacktopping a section of road beginning at the intersection of Norway Dr. and Hillcrest Road and extending east for 1590 feet. The requirements are 1590 feet of paved 2.5-inch hot mix asphalt, compacted, 22 feet wide, finish graded, including 2-foot shoulders. The project is funded by the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). No work shall be done before July 1, 2026, pending funding from the State Municipal Agreement (SMA). Bidders must submit bids as price per ton. Bids should indicate both the cost per ton and the total project cost. Bids are due by 6:00 p.m. on May 12, 2026, at which time they will be opened at the regular board meeting. Bids will not be accepted after 6:00 p.m. on May 12, 2026. Bids must be sealed and sent to the specified address.
