Demolition for an educational facility in Petoskey, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are being accepted by the Board of Education for the purchase and removal of the Petoskey High School Vocational Center model house. The minimum bid is $85,000. Bidders must submit a certified or cashier’s check for five percent (5%) of the bid amount with their submission, which will be forfeited if the winning bidder fails to sign the Agreement of Purchase within five business days of notification or fails to remove the house by the specified deadline. The house must be removed from District property no later than August 14, 2026, with a possible extension of fifteen days at the District's discretion. The house will be sold "as is," and the purchaser must indemnify the District from any liability. The purchaser must obtain and provide proof of public liability insurance in the amount of $500,000 per person and per incident, naming the District as insured. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid it determines to be in the best interest of the District.
