Site work for a water / sewer project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of the installation of 1,165 linear feet of 8 inch PVC waterline, two fire hydrants, water main connections, gate valves, copper service line and valves, and surface restoration. Sealed Bids are requested until 3:00 P.M. prevailing time, Thursday, May 7, 2026. All bid documents are available via email request. Electronic bid documents are available for a $25.00 fee and printed documents for a $75.00 fee with an additional charge for shipping. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal. Only bids from Contractors who have obtained documents directly from NIRA Consulting Engineers, Inc. will be accepted at bid opening. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond will be required of the successful Bidder. Bidders must comply with the Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 and the Public Works Employment Verification Act (PWEVA). Adherence to Instructions to Bidders is required. No bid or part thereof shall be withdrawn for sixty days subsequent to the Bid Opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or parts of bids and to waive technical defects in any Bid.
