The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 2,600 linear feet of directional drilled 10-inch PVC water main in Superior, Nebraska, from Bloom Street to Hartley Street on 5th Street. The work includes restrained joint water main, fittings, valves, fire hydrants, directional drilling, service lines, service line connections, curb stops, traffic control, miscellaneous pavement and sidewalk removals, erosion control, seeding, restoration, and appurtenances as indicated on the plans and in the specifications. Instructions to bidders: A complete set of plans, specifications, contract documents, and proposal form must be obtained from either www.questcdn.com for a nonrefundable fee or from Olsson at the specified address for a nonrefundable fee. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to the City of Superior as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid deemed most advantageous and to reject any or all bids submitted, holding bids for consideration for a period of sixty days after opening.
