Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Florence, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Pulte Development Corporation ("Developer") is soliciting sealed bids for construction of Anthem at Merrill Ranch : Unit 59C Concrete and Paving (MRCFD1); Unit 58 Concrete and Paving (MRCFD1); Unit 72 Concrete and Paving (MRCFD1); Sun City Boulevard Phase 2C Concrete and Paving (MRCFD1); and Felix Rd (west) & National Way Ph2 Sidewalks (MRCFD1). The nature of the Work to be performed under these projects shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to construct the facilities and features called for by plans and specifications. The type, purpose and location of the proposed projects are generally described below and in more detail in the plans and specifications. These services are intended to be procured in accordance with Ariz. Rev. Stat. Title 34, et. Seq utilizing a Bid-Build selection process The four individual projects (Unit 59C, Unit 58, Unit 72 and Sun City Blvd Ph2C) will each include the installation of Concrete and the installation of Paving within the Town of Florence as shown on the construction plans and as noted in the bid schedule. The Felix Rd (west) & National Way Ph2 Sidewalks project will include the installation of sidewalk within the Town of Florence as shown on the construction plans and as noted in the bid schedule. These projects include the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, traffic control. permits. and services. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid included in the proposal as a guarantee that the Contractor will enter into a contract to perform the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other statute, the surety bond shall be executed solely by a surety company or companies holding a certificate of authority to transact surety business in this state issued by the director of the department of insurance pursuant to title 20, chapter 2, article 1. The surety bond shall not be executed by an individual surety or sureties, even if the requirements of 7-101 are satisfied. The certified check, cashier's check or surety bond shall be returned to the Contractors whose proposals are not accepted, and to the successful Contractor upon the execution of a satisfactory bond and contract as provided in this article. Owner and/or Developer reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to withhold the award for any reason. Bidders are hereby notified that Owner will make no reimbursements for any costs incurred prior to issuance of a formal "notice to proceed".
