Dinwiddie County seeks quotes from qualified vendors to replace the flooring at Eastside Community Enhancement Center located at 7301 Boydton Plank Road, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. Subcontracting will not be allowed for this project. Quotations must be submitted via the County's website. This solicitation adheres to the Virginia Public Procurement Act and the Small Purchasing guidelines established in the Dinwiddie County Purchasing Policies and Procedures. Scope of Work 1. Provide labor and materials to remove and replace VCT flooring, cove base and transition strips (as needed) throughout the building. A floorplan is attached with approximate room measurements. The rooms shaded are the only rooms to be replaced. 2. Room measurements are estimates only. The Contractor is responsible for taking their own measurements at the pre-bid meeting. 3. The County will remove and replace existing furniture. 4. The County will provide a dumpster for trash removal. Vendor shall notify the County when the dumpster is full so it can be dumped. 5. Project must be done in phases to allow the continuation of daily operations. 6. Weekend and afterhours are allowed but not required. 7. Based on scheduled activities, the County has two times frames that are preferred for completing the work, May 19-29 and/or June 15-26. 8. Contractor will be required to obtain a Dinwiddie County Business License within 15 days of contract execution. This can be obtain through the Dinwiddie Commissioner of the Revenues Office.
