The project includes the replacement of a water main for the City of Beggs/Beggs PWA. The work consists of: - 3,425 L.F. of 8" PVC C900 DR14 Water Main - 650 L.F. Directional Bore & Install 8" PE SDR 11 Water Main - 4 PE-PVC Transitions and Concrete Anchors - 130 L.F. Bore & Install 16" Steel Casing, 0.25" thick with Vent Pipes - 2 8" Interconnections - 2 8" Gate Valve & Box - 2 4" Diameter Manholes with 8"Gate Valve - 2 each of 8"x90, 8"x45, 8"x22.5, and 8"x11.25 Bends - 2 8" Plugs - 1 1" Air Release Valve with Concrete Vault - 2 1" Air Release Valves - 1 Lump Sum 6" Pressure Sustaining Valve and Concrete Vault - 1 Lump Sum Construction Traffic Control - 1 Lump Sum Clearing and Grubbing - 1 Lump Sum Hydrostatic Pressure Testing & Disinfection - 1 Lump Sum Erosion Control Instructions to bidders include: - A 5% bid bond must be attached to all bids as a guarantee that the successful bidder will, within ten days of notice of award, enter into contract and file required bonds. - No bidder may withdraw a bid within 45 days of the opening date. - Contractors must be registered as active in SAM.gov. - The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and make the awards in its best interest. - Specifications are on file at Myers Engineering, Consulting Engineers, Inc., and are available electronically for a non-refundable payment. Contractors must obtain plans and specifications from the Engineer and be registered on the Engineer's bid list to be eligible. - Offerors are responsible for ensuring proposals, modifications, or revisions reach the designated office by the specified time. Proposals received after the specified time will not be considered. - This project is not subject to BABA requirements.
