Description

Renovation of a transportation facility in Plainview, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The City of Unalaska requests sealed bids from qualified contractors for the installation of steel beams to support the existing glulam beams that show signs of rot damage at the Unalaska Tom Madsen Airport terminal building. The purpose of this ITB is to obtain competitive bids to furnish and install new steel wide flange (WF) beams underneath the weather exposed existing glulam beams. The glulam beams outside the canopies are exposed to the weather and are showing signs of rot damage due to water exposure. The project will improve the airport building canopies in the front and back and ensure safe continued use of the facility.
