This sources sought notice is issued for market research purposes only to identify technically capable and responsible general contractors interested in a future Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity construction contract. The anticipated contract will support general construction services for federal facilities and may be made available for use by multiple federal agencies with appropriate contracting authority. The Government intends to award multiple IDIQ contracts with a maximum contract length of five years and a guaranteed minimum amount per awardee, with the first ordering period expected to begin in Fall 2026. Task orders will be competed among awardees in accordance with FAR 16.507, and projects may be structured as commercial or non-commercial at the order level. Construction work will generally range from the simplified acquisition threshold to the prospectus threshold. The scope of work includes comprehensive general construction services in which the contractor supervises, administers, performs, and manages all construction activities necessary to complete individual projects. Anticipated work includes office construction, renovations, repairs, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs or replacements, fire sprinkler system modifications or replacements, sitework and exterior construction repairs, façade and roof work, demolition including hazardous material abatement, elevator modernizations, and other construction activities as required by the Government. Projects may be delivered using Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Design-Build Bridging, or Construction Manager as Constructor delivery methods. Contractors must demonstrate the ability to obtain bonding up to the prospectus threshold and maintain required insurance coverage for work performed on government installations. Location: Services are anticipated to be performed within the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Alabama.
