Renovation of a mixed-use development in Univ of Cal Santa Barbara, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 969-square-foot laboratory facility.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services necessary to renovate approximately 969 ASF in Rooms 4217, 4223, and 4225 at Broida Hall in order to create a new quantum physics laboratory with two primary lab spaces. Work includes the re-installation of an existing UFCI fume hood, new sink , plumbing improvements, structural support for owner-furnished dilution refrigerators, and associated mechanical, electrical, and utility upgrades to serve specialized research equipment. Also included are modifications and integration of the fire alarm and sprinkler systems as part of a deferred approval by the DCFM. Award is subject to final approval.
