Pottstown Borough Authority is requesting bids for the construction of the Phase 3 - Lead Service Replacement Project, Contract No. LR-3. The project generally includes, but is not limited to, lead service verification of approximately 202 water service lines (via test pits), replacement of approximately 1,458 linear feet of lead service lines (within the public right-of-way), replacement of approximately 81 water service curb stops, installation of approximately 1,458 linear feet of _" copper service lines, associated restoration and demolition work, and all other work identified in the contract documents. Question Deadline 05/07/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions regarding the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be submitted via PennBID in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date. Bidders must comply with all state antibid-rigging regulations, submit an executed non-collusion affidavit, and comply with statutes relating to environmental pollution and public natural resources. All bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for contract award. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. Bidders will not be discriminated against based on gender, race, color, creed, sex, age, physical disability, or national origin. There is no maintenance bond requirement for this project.
