Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Newport, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the abandonment of approximately 99 linear feet of existing gravity sewer, along with one existing manhole, and the installation of approximately 69 LF of proposed 24-inch (R.J.) DIP in approximately 62 LF of 36-inch steel casing via jack and bore, and three new manholes within railroad and public rights-of-ways. Work will include vertical excavation shoring for launching, receiving, and trench excavations, bypass sewer pumping, dewatering, traffic control, survey and track monitoring, and other miscellaneous work for a complete installation. The project must reach Substantial Completion within 90 calendar days and Final Completion within 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500 per calendar day.
