The Healthy Homes Repair Program provides instructions to bidders and contractors for residential repair work. All bids must be itemized. All work shall be completed as per the project specifications and according to manufacturer's instructions and standard construction trade practices. Any changes to the contract will require a written and approved Change Order. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and subcontractors (e.g., electricians, plumbers). The contractor shall field verify all quantities and measurements prior to bidding. The contractor must remove all debris and leave the site in a clean condition. If unforeseen code violations or damage are uncovered, the contract may be amended.
