The lead hazard control remediation project is for a home at 22 20th St SE, Mason City, IA 50401 with the primary goal to reduce lead-based paint exposure and other related health hazards in housing for low and very low-income families with children five years of age and under. The work is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Bidders are required to participate in a Contractor's Open House/Pre-bid tour at the project location, where specifications and the bid document will be available, and any questions may be addressed to the lead inspectors. Bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders, and must be mailed or hand delivered to the Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health. All bids must follow these instructions strictly.
