The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project, which includes saw cutting and removing existing concrete pavement (approximately 26 feet wide, including gutter, by 40 feet long), removing all associated curb within the project limits, removing existing headwalls, removing existing culverts, grading and preparing the site for installation of new culverts, installing two 22.5" x 36.25" Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) Arch culverts, providing a minimum of 6 inches of bedding material beneath the pipe, bedding and backfilling trench with 5/8" chip rock or other approved self-compacting aggregate material, constructing new headwalls using 8-inch-thick concrete, repouring roadway with 6 inches of 3,500 PSI concrete to match existing grade and finish, replacing any curb removed during construction, providing all necessary traffic control and site safety measures, hauling off and properly disposing of all demolished materials, and final cleanup, grading, and dressing of the job site upon completion. Bidders must provide an itemized pricing sheet covering all aspects of the work, an estimated project schedule and completion timeline, contractor qualifications and relevant experience, and proof of insurance and required licenses. Sealed bids must be submitted as specified. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
