Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Smithton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
As of May 6, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on May 20, 2026. The project consists of the asbestos remediation, demolition and removal and disposal of any existing buildings, fences and similar appurtenances located on the premises. The foundation, footing and basement floors shall be completely removed from the demolition site and disposed of at an approved disposal site. Closing out and removing per St. Clair County, IL standards, rules and regulations any wells, cisterns, septic systems, backfilling all excavations and seed/straw area of disturbed site.
