Work to be bid: 1. 1.5" Asphalt Overlay (Level 1 Non-Polymer): labor, equipment, and materials to lay prime coat and 1 and 1/2" hot mix asphalt, Level 1 Non-Polymer asphalt overlay on 12' - 22' wide road on prepared base and existing asphalt, priced per ton with suitable wearing coarse; 5% overrun; Widening of intersections and turnouts MUST be priced as part of the road. Must meet LADOTD specifications. No minimum tonnage required per job. Asphalt Grinding: labor and equipment to grind up asphalt / 3-shot roads, 2"-12" deep. Price per square yard. 4. Striping with Double Yellow Line with Reflectors: Labor and equipment to lay a solid yellow double line with amber reflectors every 25 feet in the middle of the roadway, lines will be 4 inches wide and 16 inches from outside to outside. Must meet LADOTD specifications. 5. Striping with Single Yellow Line with Reflectors: Labor and equipment to lay a solid yellow line with amber reflectors every 25 feet in the middle of the roadway, line will be 4 inches wide. Must meet LADOTD specifications. 6. Striping with Double Yellow Line: Labor and equipment to lay solid yellow double lines in the middle of roadway, 4 inches wide and 16 inches from outside to outside. Must meet LADOTD specifications. 7. Striping with Single Yellow Line: Labor and equipment to lay a solid yellow line in the middle of roadway 4 inches wide. Must meet LADOTD specifications. Bid envelopes MUST be sealed and marked on outside with company name, item being bid, date and time of bid opening, and contractor's license number. Failure to seal and mark bid envelopes correctly will result in the bid being rejected. The Vernon Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 & 2214.
