Demolition and renovation of a mixed-use development in Punta Gorda, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility; and for the demolition of a power facility.
This project consists of a complete renovation of the existing chiller plant including two new chillers and two new cooling towers purchased by the owner and installed by the contractor. The scope also includes the rental of two 500-ton temporary chillers that must be operational before demolition can begin. Demolition includes the interior floor slab, underground utilities, existing chillers, cooling towers, and all associated mechanical piping, HVAC systems, electrical systems, foundations, and piers.
