The project involves providing construction management services for the Wadsworth Path project, which will add a wide, detached, shared-use path to the west side of Wadsworth between 32nd and 35th Avenues. The work includes overseeing the addition of an amenity zone varying between 4' and 8' wide with xeriscape plant materials, potential relocation of a large lateral of the Rocky Mountain Ditch, installation of pedestrian lights, and enhanced bus stops with shelters. The consultant will manage submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, claims, utility coordination, public engagement, and project closeout. The consultant will provide full-time construction inspection and must report on daily activity, maintain project records, and ensure all work conforms to CDOT standards and procedures. The consultant team shall include a part-time project manager (licensed PE), part-time inspector, and provide material testing and geotechnical services. All construction management activities, sampling, testing, documentation, and inspection shall meet the latest versions of CDOT and MUTCD standards. Coordination with public and private utilities and entities impacted by the project is required. The consultant is responsible for ensuring compliance, tracking schedules, managing meetings, and preparing "as constructed" plans and project closeout documentation. Proposals must adhere to all specified instructions, fill in all blanks, answer all questions, and may be rejected for incomplete responses. Bidders must comply with non-discrimination requirements, provide required acknowledgments, certifications, and insurance, and respond to a detailed vendor questionnaire covering firm capabilities, project team, project approach, quality control, and references.
