Renovation of a transportation facility in Ontario, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; transportation facility; and transportation facility.
The Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) shall provide on-call design collaboration, pre-construction, and construction services for the Terminal Restroom Modernization and Terminal Hold Room Enhancement Project in Terminals 2 and 4, as well as other various improvement projects at Ontario International Airport. Services may be authorized on a task order or project-specific basis, potentially including multiple Component Guaranteed Maximum Prices (CGMPs)/Guaranteed Maximum Prices (GMPs). General responsibilities include providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, and services necessary to perform the work, coordinating all construction activities, and delivering the work in accordance with contract documents and all applicable laws and standards. Pre-construction services include participation in design coordination meetings, constructability reviews, cost estimates, schedule development, logistics planning, risk identification, value engineering, bid package development, subcontractor outreach, and procurement for early work packages. Construction services include management and supervision of all construction activities, procurement and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers, site management, safety program implementation, quality control and assurance, schedule and cost control, coordination with airport operations and stakeholders, site preparation, protection of existing facilities, housekeeping, and closeout activities including commissioning support and documentation. The CMAR is required to comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations and Authority requirements. Work will be performed only upon written authorization by the Authority, which may include task orders, phase authorizations, or CGMP/GMP amendments defining scope, schedule, and compensation for the work.
