The rehabilitation of deteriorated wastewater collection mains and laterals using the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) process to correct structural defects and to reduce inflow/infiltration. All work is to be completed within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Sealed bids may be submitted electronically, in person, or via mail prior to the scheduled date and time of the bid opening. Bidders wishing to submit electronically must register in advance. Each bid must include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid plus additive alternates, and must be signed with an accompanying Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form provided in the specifications. Performance and labor and material payment bonds are required for the full contract amount. Contractors must be licensed for MUNICIPAL AND PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION, and bids that do not comply with requirements will be rejected. The participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises is strongly encouraged.
