Site work, paving and renovation of a transportation facility in Batesville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Goals for female participation in each trade 6.9% Furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work for Runway 8-26 & Taxiway A Rehabilitation at Batesville Regional Airport.The project involves the Rehabilitation of the Primary Runway 8-26, Taxiway A and Stub Taxiways. The sequence of work will start on the runway. The runway will be closed using lighted Xs on each end. Stub taxiways will have barricades and Xs placed to prevent traffic from entering the work area. Cracks will be cleaned and sealed, a leveling course will be placed and then the final 2" overlay will be placed on the runway and to the hold line on the stub taxiways. The pavement will receive temporary markings. Soil will be placed to prevent drop off at the edge. Seeding and mulching will be placed. An inspection for completeness and FOD removal will be performed. The runway will be reopened. At this point aircraft will back-taxi and enter on Taxiway Al. Taxiway A from Al to the apron will be used to access apron. Taxiway A will be closed from A1-A4. Taxiway A and the balance of the stub taxiways will have joints sealed, the leveling course will be placed and then the finish surface course. The paving will progress from west to east. When paving reaches Al taxiing aircraft will cross Taxiway A and go north to the self-fueling ramp and onto Taxiway B then Taxiway C to the north end of the main apron. As the paving progresses from Al to the apron, Runway 18-36 will be closed while working in the Safety Area. Paving will continue to the apron with associated marking, fill and seeding and mulching. Once this segment is complete, the traffic will resume its normal pattern.
