This project primarily involves the complete execution of all work related to the addition of a linear accelerator at the Hopital de la Cite-de-la-Sante de Laval, located at 1755 Rene-Laennec Blvd. in Laval. The contractor must also refer to the complete plans and specifications (architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural) to determine the precise scope of the work and the required safety measures. The contractor must take into account that this building is a hospital that remains occupied throughout the duration of the work. Activities in the building continue 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To ensure coexistence that allows for the continuity of care, the contractor must familiarize themselves with the methods to be followed for phasing the work, service interruptions, temporary installations, and other instructions specific to a project in a hospital setting. Refer to the following documents: Contract Supplementary Clauses (i.e., "CCC"), specifications, and contract. ** Under no circumstances should you come into contact with patients ** The work consists of, but is not limited to: Obtaining all required permits other than the building permit, including related documents; Demolition of structures; Temporary work; Containment work related to infection control; Containment work related to user safety; Drilling; Coordinating work according to the phasing and schedule to be provided by the contractor; Attending weekly meetings with the project manager and other meetings as requested; Waste removal; Daily and final cleanup of the job site; Provision of documents related to documentation and site closure. Adherence to the schedule is central to this contract. The contractual timeframe for the works is (12) weeks from the start of site mobilisation, excluding holidays and public holidays. The site mobilisation date must be authorised by the CISSS de Laval project manager. Work on site must be continuous; no stoppages will be accepted on grounds of logistics or labour shortages; consequently, site mobilisation will commence as soon as all materials are available. Upon award of the contract, the Contractor must prepare and submit the shop drawings, place orders and prepare the baseline schedule for the works, which must be approved by the professionals and the Laval CISSS project manager five days prior to the kick-off meeting.
