The Regulator is seeking to renew contracted services for the maintenance and operation of Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems. Ambient air quality monitoring in British Columbia is conducted by the province, select industrial sources, and the BC Energy Regulator. The Regulator specifically monitors ambient air quality in relation to oil and gas activities to protect public safety and conserve the environment, using equipment such as the Continuous Air Monitoring Environmental Laboratory (CAMEL) trailer and the Roaming Air Monitor (RAM) van units. Submissions must be delivered using specified methods, with options including electronic submission through the BC Energy Regulator’s web portal (https://procurement.bc-er.ca/).
