The Town of Benson Cemetery Commission is accepting Bids to mow and weed trim all four Town owned cemeteries. The contract is for the mowing season from May of 2026 to the end of October 2026. The contractor will provide services at Fair View Cemetery (1,000 Memorials), Old Benson Cemetery (960 Memorials), Carter St Cemetery (92 Memorials), and Temple Cemetery (73 Memorials). Fair View and Old Benson cemeteries should be mowed every 10 days, while Carter St and Temple cemeteries require mowing a minimum of four times a year, except in times of extremely dry conditions. All cemeteries should be mowed just prior to Memorial Day.
