Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This resurfacing project consists of a 2-inch structural overlay of S. Spruce St, Goldenrod Rd, and Walnut St. Construction includes, but is not limited to: hot mix asphalt; grinding; pavement markings; erosion and water pollution control measures; and traffic control. Bids must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent of the bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into the contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the specified time, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. No proposal may be withdrawn after the set opening hour or before award of contract, unless the award is delayed for more than sixty days. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities.
