Removal and replacement of Bonneville Powerhouse 2 Unwatering Pump Assembly Number 1, including procurement, installation, and commissioning of a new vertical turbine unwatering pump system. The existing pump assembly will be retained by the Government for spare parts. The new assembly will include a new pump, motor, and strainer basket designed to meet anticipated requirements of approximately 7,000 GPM capacity, less than 300 HP, hollow motor shaft, NEMA MG1 Part 31 compliance for VFD use, and 480V three-phase power. The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete installation and commissioning. The Government intends to operate the crane and complete unstacking of the existing assembly prior to contractor installation activities; however, the contractor may be required to remove the existing pump if Government removal is not possible. Work will support unit overhauls, leakage control, and fish passage system operations at the facility. Hazardous Energy Control Program safety training is required, and construction including commissioning must be completed within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of Construction: The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
