The Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority (Port Authority) requests separate electrical construction bids for the East Bayfront Port Development - Site Improvements The work includes clearing and grubbing the entire project area of approximately 21-acres, site grading and compaction, construction of a gravel surface laydown/staging area including placement and compaction of owner-furnished aggregate, construction of stormwater management facilities (infiltration basin), construction of perimeter chain link fencing and gates, and the construction of site lighting, video surveillance system, and associated electrical infrastructure located between Ore Dock Road and Port Access Road and south of the existing Carmeuse facility within the City of Erie. A sixty-day bid hold period applies, and ten percent bid security is required. The successful Bidder/Contractor shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price.
