The work involves supplying ductile iron water pipes with push-on Tyton joints, double cement mortar lining, and American Water Works Association (AWWA) single rubber gasket. Two sizes are specified: 4-inch and 12-inch nominal pipe sizes, Class 54, each with an 18-foot nominal laying length. The materials are to be delivered to the Water Quality Division Pipe Yard Store #6, 13001 Sepulveda Blvd, Sylmar, CA 91342. Responses must be submitted through ERSP, and all questions must be submitted via the ERSP "Q & A" section. Bidders are required to use the forms listed on the "Vendor Checklist" page of the ERSP system; all attachments are made part of this bid. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, and the Department reserves the right to award items separately or as a whole. Affirmative action applies, and assignment of the contract is prohibited without prior written consent from the Department. The contractor must possess a valid BTRC or vendor registration number.
