This solicitation is for furnishing liquid oxygen (LOX) for the Department of Water and Power for a period of one year, with two optional one-year renewal periods, as specified. Requirements include delivery to the Los Angeles Aqueduct Filtration Plant, unloading with Department assistance, and providing services such as flushing, draining, transferring, or transporting liquid oxygen from storage tanks using all necessary equipment. There are detailed clothing and safety requirements for site entry, and bidders must attend a mandatory site visit. Only electronic submissions through the ERSP system are accepted. All questions should be submitted through the ERSP system. Bidders must complete all forms as listed in the Vendor Checklist via the ERSP system and submit a complete bid on all items as any award will be for the entire contract. Payment will be made within 30 calendar days after delivery and proper invoice receipt. If claiming local business preference, the appropriate questionnaire must be submitted at the time of bid closing. Bidders should also state whether they allow cooperative purchasing with other governmental agencies.
