Renovation of a recreation facility in Westwego, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
Project addresses multiple life safety and ADA deficiencies at the existing facility. This includes but is not limited to the addition of a fire hydrant, replacement of non-fire-rated openings, minor sprinkler modifications, door hardware adjustments, parking lot striping, room signage replacement, and the addition of steel cane detection rails. Bids will be received for a general contract (all trades). Bidders may submit bids as described and according to the provided instructions. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount is required, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. Bids shall only be accepted from contractors licensed for the classification of "Building Construction." Questions regarding the scope of work must be directed in writing to the Project Manager via email. Questions: questions about this procedure and all other questions regarding the scope of work of the project should be directed to the Project Manager in writing via email only: robert@hollyandsmith.com.bta Question Deadline 05/08/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request to the Architect, submitted electronically, to reach him at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
