ROOF REPLACEMENT: o Remove existing shingles and responsibly dispose. o Inspect all sheathing for possible damage. o Provide an allowance of ten (10) sheets of plywood sheathing and two hundred feet (200') of fascia. o If more damage is found, CONTRACTOR must notify TRIBE's Project Manager to receive further direction. o Pictures of damaged area must be taken. o Install aluminum drip edge along all edges, eaves, and rakes per residential building code. o Install leak barrier(s) at all eaves, valleys, and around penetrations. o Install deck protection over remaining wood decking. o Install 26GA Tuff-Rib Panels - Mill Finish 25-year Warranty Panels (color chart to be submitted to project manager for homeowner approval). o Replace all flashing that can be accessed without damaging siding materials, including counter, step, and apron flashing with new color coated aluminum. o Step flashing must be four inches (4"). o Any flashing fastened to masonry must be cut into masonry. o Seal all exposed nail heads and transitions. o Install and seal pipe collars. o Install color matching ridge vent. o Re-Nail Decking with 8D ring shank nails per new code six inches (6") on center. o Install one (1) layer of polyglass MTS peel & stick as underlayment, heavy duty sixty (60) mil thickness. o Install eave drip, valley & gable rake & sidewall flashing and end wall flashing and counter flashing. o Use one point five inches (1.5") & LAP ZAC screws @ twenty-four inches (24") on center, lifetime warranty screws. o Install outside closures under ridge cap. o Install new sidewall flashing & end wall flashing & counter at existing chimney. o Install six (6) EPDM Boots. o Fix soffit near Fireplace. o Properly flashing of existing chimney/fireplace. o Provide alternate price for GAF Timberline Dimensional Shingles.
