Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Spring Creek, Nevada. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.

The project involves the remodel of the current Spring Creek Fire Station to include space for the Elko County Ambulance staff and quarters, with the aim of better serving the Spring Creek area. Bidders are invited to submit separate, sealed bids for this remodel and repair project, identified as PWP-EL 2026-357. Elko County is requesting bids from qualified contractors for an interior remodel of Spring Creek Fire Station 28. The project includes structural repairs, dorm room construction, framing, drywall installation, bathroom configuration, and mechanical system upgrades. Project Location ECFPD Spring Creek Station 28 5 Licht Parkway Spring Creek, NV 89815 The following work will be completed by owner: Interior demolition of designated areas Removal and disposal of existing materials Interior painting (final finish) Installation of finish flooring The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the following: Floor Repair / Replacement - Inspect all exposed subflooring after demolition, including water-damaged areas Repair or replace damaged or compromised flooring components Ensure floor is level, secure, and ready for finish flooring installation - Structural Support / Reinforcement Install additional support bracing as needed Address any deficiencies identified during demolition Drywall (Sheetrock) Installation Install drywall throughout remodeled areas, including all dorm rooms and bathrooms Complete: o Hanging o Taping o Mudding o Texture finish Provide smooth, paint-ready surfaces for ECFPD or optional finish work Electrical Rough-in and finish electrical for remodeled areas Lighting, switches, and outlets Panel upgrades, if required Code-compliant installation Plumbing Plumbing rough-in and finish for selected bathroom configuration Installation of fixtures (toilets, sinks, shower if applicable) Shutoffs, valves, and tie-ins to existing systems Installation support for water heater Finish- Kitchen, Floor and Paint Installation Installation of cabinets and countertops Coordination for appliance placement Mounting and securing all components Flooring instillation (interlocking, composite flooring) Paint and finish interior Question Deadline 05/05/2026 at 4:00 PM PT Questions must be submitted to: Matthew Petersen mpetersen@elkocountynv.net and John Pitts japitts@elkocountynv.net
