Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Naperville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE ARE FOR "REVIEW ONLY". IN ORDER TO SUBMIT AN ELIGIBLE BID, CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO GET A COPY OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FROM NAPERVILLE PARK DISTRICT. The project consists of removals and the installation of 2-12 year old playground structures, minor site grading, concrete curbing and flatwork, site furnishings, and landscape restoration. the Naperville Park District Administrative Building. Bid documents can be requested by email, and all necessary bid documents will be emailed at no cost. Hard copies are not available. If a bid is accepted, a Labor & Material Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each for not less than 100% of the contract amount, will be required prior to beginning construction. The surety company must be licensed by the Department of Insurance and have a financial strength rating of at least A- by a recognized rating agency. If a bid is accepted, the Contractor must file a written substance abuse prevention program prior to commencement of the work. The Park District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible bids, or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Park District. All questions concerning these projects or those concerning bidding requirements should be directed to Jessica Burgdorf in writing to jburgdorf@napervilleparks.org. Questions will be received in writing only until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
