The City of Byron will be utilizing local funds to complete Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining on sanitary sewer mains within its corporate limits. The project includes Base Bid and three (3) Alternate Bid locations as itemized below. Base Bid: CIPP lining of a system of sanitary sewer main known as the All Saints Drive Collector which includes sewer main on All Saints Drive and Hamer Court. The system includes segments found in backyards of residential homes and ultimately discharges to an existing collection system at E. Third Street. Alternate Bid #1: CIPP Lining of an 8" diameter private sanitary sewer service at Loomis International 602 E. Blackhawk Drive, Byron IL 61010. If awarded, Contractor will enter into contract agreement directly with Loomis International LTD. Payment for services to be made by Loomis International LTD. Alternate Bid #2: CIPP lining of an 8" diameter sanitary sewer main along Illinois Route 2 (Blackhawk Drive) from Kysor Drive to All Saints Drive. Alternate Bid #3: Rehabilitation of two (2) brick manholes on the All Saints Drive Collector System by way of interior lining methods. Bids must be checked in by the City Clerk's office prior to bid time. Any bidder attempting to deliver after the opening time and date will be refused. All bids must be accompanied by a bank check, cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid.
