Sealed bids are requested for Chemicals for the Wastewater and Water Plants. The materials include Sodium Permanganate, Dense Soda Ash, Liquid Chlorine, Carus 8100 and 8500 Ortho/Polyphosphate Blends, Poly Aluminum Chloride, Sodium Hypo-Chlorite, Magnesium Hydroxide Wet, and KC-138 Polyacrylamide Emulsion (Polymer) in specified quantities and packaging. Chemicals are to be delivered in the required quantities and within 3 working days of placing an order. All suppliers must provide necessary unloading equipment and pumps for off-loading magnesium hydroxide. Delivery by tractor-trailer is not permitted due to road limitations; all trucks must have a lift gate. Deliveries must occur during regular working hours. Bids must include delivery charges and a statement on the supplier's return policy and cost for empty drums/totes, which must be collected upon delivery or replacement. This is a one-year contract with no renewals. Successful bidders must provide Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis, and NSF/ANSI Standard 60 approvals for all water chemicals prior to the first delivery. All bidders are required to conform to the bid specifications.
