Louisville Parks and Recreation is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a new Outdoor Learning Center at Shawnee Park, 4501 West Broadway, Louisville, Kentucky 40211. The project is designed to support inclusive, educational, and community-focused outdoor programming and aims to be welcoming and accessible to visitors of all ages and abilities. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the complete construction of the Outdoor Learning Center. The work may include site preparation and earthwork; installation of new utility connections such as water, sewer, electrical, and data as required; concrete foundations and flatwork; structural framing; roofing systems; exterior and interior walls; windows and doors; and interior finishes including flooring, carpentry, and related architectural elements. The project also includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems; masonry work; accessibility features compliant with applicable ADA standards; and coordination with Louisville Parks and Recreation throughout construction.
