Renovation of Building 1, first floor Acute Respiratory Clinic, including all construction, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract requirements. The work is to be performed as a firm-fixed-price construction effort with a period of performance of 224 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, and includes compliance with applicable Davis-Bacon Act wage determinations, bonding requirements, and all technical, safety, and quality standards specified in the contract. Location: Fresno VA Medical Center, 2615 East Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA 93703-2223. Experience in managing Construction projects between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work summary includes: Architectural construction associated with demolition and installation of new walls, doors, ceilings, flooring and provisions for equipment as detailed in drawings throughout space including infection control in coordination with anticipated work for all spaces requiring construction in accordance with VA coordination and approval. Mechanical demolition of indicated duct and equipment for installation of new dedicated exhaust fans on OPC penthouse roof, routing of new exhaust ductwork to space, and reinstallation of duct within space that includes bubble tight dampers, room pressure monitors, and controls for operation of space as described. Re-routing of existing chilled water lines in casket lift raising from basement to first floor ceiling to recapture space for waiting room and testing and balancing of space to balance room pressures, controls as needed. Structural reinforcement of OPC penthouse decking to support new exhaust fans, new floor of partial casket lift, and modifications to exterior slab for new entryway. Plumbing work to include configuration of pipe routing throughout space for reconfigured rooms basement as indicated. Electrical work for disconnect and reconnect of new lighting, receptacles, telecom, low voltage equipment as indicated throughout space.
