Remodeling of an educational facility in Norwich, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for Norwich Free Academy State Project 901-0005A, Phase 1 ITB 26-001 Tirrell Building Cafeteria Upgrades. A bid bond for five percent (5%) of the base bid cost is required and must accompany each proposal. Bids must be held firm for ninety (90) days beyond the bid opening date. The successful bidder must provide a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, a one hundred percent (100%) Labor & Materials Bond, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of notice of bid award. Bidders must comply with payment of minimum wages and other applicable local, state, and federal requirements. Plans and specifications are available from the district RFP website or the CT DAS Bidding Portal at no cost to the contractor. Each bidder is responsible for checking the relevant websites for any addenda. Norwich Free Academy reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or to waive defects, or to accept any proposal or part thereof deemed in its best interest.
