Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The overall scope of this project includes pavement removal, new taxiway pavement construction, taxiway pavement reconstruction, runway mainline pavement construction, and runway blast pad construction. The limits of this taxiway project include Taxiway D between the north side of the East Cargo Apron and Taxiway A. Existing Taxiway D will be removed, and new Taxiway D will be realigned to be perpendicular to Runway 29. Total distance of the Taxiway D realignment between the East Cargo Apron and Taxiway A is approximately 1,600 ft. 230 ft of new runway construction at the new Taxiway D crossing is required, along with a new 220 ft x 400 ft long blast pad southeast of the relocated Runway 29 end. The scope of work also includes rehabilitation of the Runway 29 perimeter road. If funding is available, Taxiway F connector between Runway 5/23 and the southwest side of the East Cargo Apron will also be removed and replaced. The Taxiway F connection to Runway 5/23 will remain at the same location; however, connection to the East Cargo Ramp (named Taxiway H1) will be offset from Taxiway F to the southwest. If funding is available, the project will also include new Taxiway G construction and new Taxiway H construction. Taxiway G will run parallel to Runway 11/29, 500 ft from the Runway 11/29 centerline between realigned Taxiway D and Runway 5/23. Total length of the new Taxiway G construction is approximately 900 ft. New Taxiway H will be constructed parallel to Runway 5/23 northwest of the Apron. Limits of Taxiway H will be new Taxiway G noted above, and the new Taxiway H1 connector. Total distance of the Taxiway H construction parallel to Runway 5/23 is approximately 1,400 ft. Other aspects of the project, pending funding availability, include expansion of the East Cargo Apron and reconfiguring aircraft parking on the East Cargo Apron.
