The 2026 Road Program for Jefferson Township will consist of one (1) base bid and one (1) alternate bid. The base bid will consist of edgeline milling and paving of one (1) Township Road. The one (1) alternate bid will consist of edgeline milling and paving of one (1) Township Road. Additional information can be found in the Project Specifications. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall perform Edgeline Milling of Asphalt Pavement Surface, 1" Max Depth and 3' wide beginning at the road edge. Pump House Road will receive an overlay with Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Wearing Course (Scratch),PG 64S-22, 0.3 to < 3 Million ESALs, 9.5 MM Mix, SRL-L, followed by an overlay of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Wearing Course, PG 64S-22, 0.3 to < 3 Million ESALs, 9.5 MM Mix, 1-1/2" Depth, SRL-L. Driveways along Pump House Road will also receive a driveway adjustment to match the existing driveway material. Selected Material Surfacing will be installed along the shoulder on either side of Pump House Road as shoulder backup to maintain a smooth transition, where present in the existing condition. Work shall include the following incidental items: mobilization/demobilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, sweeping of roadway; tack coat; shoulder backup material (topsoil in lawns), milling of paving notches, all paved driveway tie-ins and paving notches, and maintaining of curb reveals; any adjustments or applicable protection of manholes and/or utility valves; and sealing of joints as necessary. All utility valves within the pavement are to be protected and closely match the proposed road surface, which is incidental to the project. Existing inlets are to be protected and positive drainage to be maintained following construction, which is incidental to the project. The contractor must maintain clearance of household gutter outlet drains. LOCATIONS: Pump House Road from SR 0540 (excluding the intersection) to SR 0348 (excluding the Intersection), approximately 6400 feet in length by approximately 20 feet in width.
