Remodeling of a conference / convention center in North Ogden, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a conference / convention center.
The project is the remodel of the Event Space Building at Ogden-Weber Technical College, which includes seismic upgrades and reroof. Construction cost estimate is $3,000,000. Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently on the respective DFCM Prequalified Contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid on this project. Question Deadline 05/13/2026 at 3:00 PM MT Online Portal This project involves the seismic remodel and reroof of an existing 1965-era event space at Ogden-WeberTechnical College. Existing glulam beams will be removed and replaced bysteel trusses. Strong-backs will be added to the existing masonry walls. The existing flooring system will be removed from the gymnasium and replaced with a concrete slab on metal deck. Other improvements included are the replacement of the existing storefront entry and addition of another entry, and storage door replacement.
