Weber County is seeking proposals from well qualified and experienced contractors to provide all services associated with Construction Management (pre-construction design phase) and General Contracting for constructing a new Weber County Jail Medical & Mental Health Housing Wing and all associated site improvements. The project is located at 1400 Depot Drive, Ogden City, Utah. The Medical Wing, as conceptually designed, will provide approximately 42,800 ft2 of gross building area with a main-level footprint of approximately 15,000 ft2, including medical staff space, medical infirmary, clinic, dental operatory, pharmacy, holding, control, male and female housing with recreational areas, general storage, and basic amenities found in a correctional facility's medical and mental health facility. The building design will include specialized technology, equipment, and systems compatible with the existing facility. The budgeted cost of the project is approximately $22 million. The goal is to identify a contractor that can deliver high-quality pre-construction phase and construction services while adhering to the project's budget. Approximate Notice of Selection Results and Award: Week of May 25, 2026 thru May 29, 2026. If no presentations are conducted this will be moved a week earlier This will be done through two separate contracts: one for pre-construction services and one for services as the general contractor, including construction and one-year-warranty period services. The County reserves the right to award the general contractor contract to the preconstruction contractor or to a contractor other than the pre-construction contractor.
