Remodeling of an office development in North Ogden, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 14,520-square-foot, one-story above grade office development.
RFP Contractor - DFCM Construction - VBS Construction Stage I - DFCM Multi Agency - Ogden Regional Center The Ogden Regional Center is an 88,150 sq ft single level facility intended to house multiple state agencies. This phase involves the remodel of 14,520 sq ft of the building for the DMV, common hallway, bathrooms, partial HVAC, roof, and paving. Question Deadline 05/12/2026 at 3:00 PM MT Deadline for submitting questions related to the RFP via Online Portal. The Ogden Regional center will house several agencies. DFCM has begun identifying areas of the State where it is financially advantageous to the State to consolidate State agencies into a single location where it would not impact the function or mission of those agencies. The agencies within these existing buildings will then be joined together in multiagency regional centers. The final building will include the following agencies: Department of Motor Vehicles, Driver License Division, Health and Human Services, Workforce Services & Agriculture. It will also consist of but is not limited to the following common areas such as conference rooms, shared desks, breakout rooms, wellness and mother's room. Additionally, there will be support spaces for work areas, receiving areas, storage, electrical, IT, mechanical, and maintenance. Phase one is a partial building remodel. The scope building will include new waiting area, new offices, small conference room, and a new mechanical room. Also included is a re-roof of the entire building, which will include removing some existing roof mounted mechanical equipment and installing 2 new VAV AHU's on the roof. A dedicated unit for the DMV seating area, and the offices and surrounding areas will have VAV's with high efficiency boiler reheat. Boilers and pumps will be installed in a new mechanical room with spacing for an additional boiler in future phase 2. The areas outside of the remodel of the building will be partially conditioned with one existing AHU that serves an existing underfloor supply air plenum. Plumbing modifications will be made to the main restrooms on the west side of the building and minor changes to other areas. Electrically all existing wiring, fixtures, and outlets will be removed, including the removal of an unnecessary transformer/s. Existing fire sprinklers, and fire & smoke alarms will be modified to suit the new layout.
