Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bourbon, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Demolition of existing structure and construction of a new 55-foot slab beam bridge with slight roadway work and incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. This project is located on Smith Road, in Section 16, Township 40 N, Range 04 W in Crawford County, Missouri over Three Mile Creek. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2025, Third Edition Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. The Crawford County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids MODOT - Smith Road Bridge Replacement Question Deadline 05/13/2026 All questions concerning the bid document preparation can be directed to the Project Manager, Krysta Swartz, at Great River Engineering at 417-886-7171. All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents shall be submitted to the Design Professional in writing, Questions must be received by the Design Professional at least four (4) working days prior to the bid opening.
