Work consists of complete restoration of thirteen (13) second-floor heritage windows including jamb restoration, sash restoration, glass reset/replacement, glazing, painting, rope replacement, hardware restoration, and lead-safe compliance procedures as specified in Section C. Location - 16746/16750 Hwy 64, Somerville, TN 38068 The Town of Somerville is seeking sealed bids from contractors for the 16750 Highway 64 Building Window Restoration Project. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the specifications and will be due no later than 11:00 AM on May 7th, 2026 at Town Hall, 13085 N. Main St., Somerville, Tennessee. Complete specifications for the project can be obtained by contacting the Town by phone or email, or by picking up hard copies at the provided address. Sealed bids must be received by the City Administrator by mail, courier, or hand delivery at the specified address by the stated deadline to be considered for the contract. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to restore thirteen (13) historic second-floor windows (26 sash; 143 lites; approx. 33.5" x 95") located on the Front and East elevations of the designated heritage structure. The project includes complete jamb, and sash restoration, glass removal and reset, wood repair, glazing, painting, rope replacement, hardware restoration, EPA-certified lead-safe containment, and full operational restoration All bidders must be properly licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee. Each bidder agrees to commence work within fifteen (15) days of Notice to Proceed and fully complete the work within ninety (90) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond.
