OPWDD’s Broome DDSO is requesting quotes for the Smithville Boiler system replacement project. Vendors must attend a mandatory site visit prior to quote submission. All quotes must be submitted on the Official Bid Form provided and include a breakdown of materials and labor costs. This is a public works project; prevailing wages must be paid, and vendors or subcontractors must be registered with the NYS Department of Labor, providing a copy of their certificate with the quote. The awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work, submit certificates of Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance, complete Lobbying Law Forms, and sign Appendix A. The contract will be awarded to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject all quotes. No concessions will be made for any misunderstandings regarding quantity, quality, character, or other conditions. Broome DDSO's interpretation of specifications is final and binding.
