Sealed bids are invited for the University of Mississippi Jones Hall - Patterson School of Accountancy (UM #16-020, IHL #207-416, Bid File #1271). Bid documents are available for purchase both digitally and in hard copy by registered plan holders. Bids must be prepared according to instructions provided in the project manual. Submissions require use of the form supplied by the architect and must include a bid bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, made payable to the University of Mississippi. The bid envelope must display the contractor's current Certificate of Responsibility Number and License Number, unless the bid is stated to be less than or not exceeding $50,000.00. All bids must be sealed, properly marked, and addressed. Electronic submissions are permitted as per provided instructions. The University reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Pre-Bid Meeting 05/07/2026 at 1:00 PM CT Questions should be directed to the Architect. Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the plans and specifications, or be in doubt as to their meaning, the Bidder should immediately notify the Architect. The Architect will send written instruction(s) or interpretation(s) to all known holders of the documents. Neither the Owner nor the Design Professional will be responsible for nor bound by any oral instruction or interpretation.
